WHY? I have been diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive icon-collecting disorder. I have hundreds of elite The X-Files icons made by immensely talented, fellow enthusiasts. Why much ado about 100x100 pixels? A philosophical approach to this question lies in the concept of minimalism, I share with you, William Blake, "Auguaries of Innocence" "To see a World in a Grain of Sand And A Heaven in a Wild Flower, Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand And Eternity in an Hour." HOW "P-I-C" WORKS If you post icons at Livejournal's xf_icons, chances are, I have already seen your work. Every week, I meticulously choose between 8-14 icons from one icon artist to accompany various FUGUES site updates. My decision rests on a variety of factors, including icon quality, composition, and style. Typically, I choose a batch of icons that express a unified style and composition that tastes of modern contemporary art and photography. If you do not post to Livejournal's xf_icons, and would like your icons to be considered for "PIC", please email me a link to your work at foxestacado@gmail.com RULES OF TAKING, BORROWING, EATING If you intend to take icons for use at Livejournal, please credit the icon creators.
